Three Stones Gallery (West Concord MA) had an opening last night that featured all the represented artists for the up coming year.
Small works were shown as an "appetizer" to what's coming up on their schedule.
I will have a show with fellow artist John MacAdam in Sept. /Oct. I will get to have my more current and larger works on display.
Meanwhile, I have finished the Seeing Black series (for now anyway) and decided it's been some time since I have featured animals. Once again I am using the same technique of finding a favorite artist that embraces mostly abstraction and melding it with a favorite Inuit image. Pauta was famous for his sculpture of bears. I am working on a second piece now. What an honor it is to capture the spirit of his bears. ( I use photos from catalogs or books)
